Role Summary:
Responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, focusing on purchase-to-pay cycle, negotiation, and RFQ management within electrical and mechanical domains. Ensures timely delivery, supplier coordination, and compliance with company procedures.
What Youll Do:
- Manage purchase-to-pay activities, including RFQs, cost comparisons, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, invoice discrepancies, and documentation
- Convert purchase requisitions and approved demand into accurate purchase orders
- Ensure purchase order accuracy for price, quantity, delivery date, Incoterms, supplier, and commercial terms
- Manage changes, cancellations, rescheduling, and urgent requirements in purchase orders
- Maintain purchasing records, reports, and handle discrepancies
- Monitor supplier delivery commitments and follow up on order confirmations and shipments
- Expedite critical materials, escalate shortages, and coordinate with internal teams
- Monitor inventory levels and support optimization activities
- Manage consignment and vendor-managed inventory execution
- Act as operational point of contact for suppliers regarding orders and discrepancies
- Negotiate with suppliers within approved guidelines
- Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or equivalent
- Ensure compliance with procedures, sourcing strategies, and audit requirements
- Prepare reports on shortages, delivery performance, inventory, and discrepancies
What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Experience in P2P cycle management, procurement, negotiation, and RFQ management
- Domain experience in electrical and mechanical fields
- Ability to work in shifts (First & Night, as per project allocation)
- Immediate availability as per notice period requirement
Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
Qualifications:
BE / BTech in Electrical or Mechanical (or as per requirement)
