Skin Therapist

Key Responsibilities

Perform skin treatments and aesthetic procedures within the therapist's qualifications, training, and authorised scope of practice.

Assist dermatologists with treatment preparation and clinical procedures, where trained and authorised.

Explain treatment steps, aftercare instructions, and expected outcomes to patients as directed by the dermatologist.

Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and infection-control protocols.

Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and consumables before each procedure.

Maintain accurate treatment records and document patient progress.

Monitor patient comfort during procedures and promptly report adverse reactions to the dermatologist.

Educate patients on dermatologist-recommended skincare routines and products.

Support appointment follow-ups, patient retention, and ethical recommendations for suitable services.

Ensure equipment is handled, cleaned, and maintained according to clinic protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Skin Therapist, Aesthetic Therapist, or in a similar role.

Relevant certification or qualification in skincare, cosmetology, or aesthetic therapy.

Excellent communication and patient-handling skills.

Fluency in English, Hindi, and Kannada is mandatory.

Practical knowledge of skincare treatments and hygiene protocols.

Good interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a patient-first attitude.

Ability to work collaboratively with dermatologists and clinic staff.

Professional appearance and commitment to clinical standards.

Preferred Experience:- Experience in a dermatology or aesthetic clinic, including exposure to dermatologist-supervised facials, skin rejuvenation treatments, laser hair reduction assistance, or other relevant procedures within the candidate's authorized scope.
