Role Summary

We are looking for a strong Infrastructure/SRE Engineer with deep hands-on experience in Kubernetes and Linux administration. The ideal candidate should have experience managing production-grade infrastructure, troubleshooting complex Linux/Kubernetes issues, implementing automation, and ensuring high availability, reliability, scalability, and performance of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based production infrastructure.
• Deploy, administer, upgrade, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters.
• Monitor infrastructure and applications to ensure availability, reliability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes issues related to pods, nodes, networking, storage, deployments, services, ingress, resource utilization, and cluster health.
• Handle Linux troubleshooting across CPU, memory, disk, filesystem, processes, networking, permissions, and system services.
• Support production incidents and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for infrastructure and application reliability issues.
• Implement automation using Shell/Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions.
• Work closely with development, DevOps, platform, and infrastructure teams to improve system reliability.
• Drive infrastructure improvements using SRE principles, including automation and reduction of manual operational activities.
• Participate in production support and on-call/incident management activities as required.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux Administration & Troubleshooting
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure and SRE concepts
• Kubernetes cluster deployment, administration, troubleshooting, and upgrades
• Containers and Docker/container runtimes
• Linux networking, storage, filesystem, system services, and performance troubleshooting
• Shell/Bash scripting and automation
• CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
• Monitoring/observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or similar
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, routing, and troubleshooting
• Strong production issue debugging and RCA skills
