Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (Lead) to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of critical digital platforms. The role involves managing production environments, resolving complex infrastructure and application issues, implementing automation, and driving continuous improvements in system uptime and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy new application releases and manage application environments.
- Build, maintain, and scale highly available, globally distributed systems.
- Design and implement solutions to improve system reliability, resilience, and uptime.
- Monitor production environments and troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues.
- Manage incident response, root cause analysis, and blameless post-mortems.
- Oversee production systems, ensuring availability, performance, scalability, and security.
- Implement automation for deployment, configuration management, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with Agile and DevOps teams on cloud-native applications, containerization, and CI/CD practices.
- Support system design, capacity planning, launch reviews, and production readiness assessments.
- Monitor service health, latency, and availability, and proactively identify performance bottlenecks.
- Drive improvements in configuration management and container-based infrastructure.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, architecture reviews, and sprint planning.
- Support team selection, technical mentoring, and development of SRE and operations team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of applications, middleware, databases, infrastructure, and operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Shell scripting.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Nagios, AppDynamics, ELK Stack, and Prometheus.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Redis.
- Experience with Linux, WebLogic, Tomcat, JBoss, and related middleware technologies.
- Experience managing high-traffic, highly scalable production systems.
- Understanding of release automation, including packaging, dependency management, deployment, promotion, and compliance.
- Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira and knowledge of quality analysis.
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in site reliability engineering, production support, infrastructure operations, or DevOps.
- Ability to assess and resolve complex platform availability and performance issues.
- Strong technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Focus on automation, continuous improvement, and maintaining reliable, scalable digital platforms.

It includes an application tracking system. The referral hiring platform is now being used by 350 corporates.Going forward, the vision is to reposition naukri.com as a complete recruitment partner by consolidating all products into a Naukri Hiring Suite that caters to almost all the recruitment needs of customers.
