Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Terraform, Splunk, and GitHub Actions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving system reliability, scalability, observability, automation, and operational excellence across cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Drive SRE best practices including reliability engineering, incident management, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform.
• Manage and support containerized workloads running on Kubernetes (AKS).
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions using Splunk and Azure monitoring tools.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Develop automation scripts to reduce manual operational efforts.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to improve application reliability and deployment efficiency.
• Establish and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for critical business applications.
• Participate in on-call support and production issue resolution activities.

Required Skills (Must Have)

• Strong experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
• Expertise in Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) administration and container orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience in Splunk monitoring, log analysis, and observability.
• Knowledge of Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with automation and scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.
• Experience in implementing disaster recovery and high-availability solutions.

Good to Have

• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions.
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security automation.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
• Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 6+ years of relevant experience in SRE, Cloud Operations, or DevOps Engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
