Staff Senior Reliability/Automation Engineer – Infrastructure (Hyderabad, India) The

Staff Senior Reliability/Automation Engineer – Infrastructure is responsible for building and scaling

automation and

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) foundations across

global compute ,

storage , and

backup platforms within

Data Centers . This role serves as a

Subject Matter Expert (SME) and drives

repeatable ,

scalable , and

version-controlled infrastructure provisioning , improving

reliability ,

speed , and

consistency . The position collaborates with

Infrastructure Engineering ,

Operations , and

Security teams to integrate

automation into

provisioning ,

configuration , and

lifecycle management .

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the

infrastructure automation strategy for

compute ,

storage , and

backup platforms .

• Design and implement

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks to standardize

provisioning and

configuration .

• Lead

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) infrastructure integration automation strategy and planning for

compute ,

storage , and

backup platforms .

• Execute and technically lead

automation for

M&A integration and

Data Center migrations , collaborating with

Security ,

DevOps , and

business stakeholders .

• Establish and govern

version-controlled infrastructure code repositories and

branching strategies .

• Develop and maintain

IaC templates and

modules for

compute ,

storage , and

backup infrastructure .

• Automate and lead

provisioning ,

configuration , and

operational maintenance to reduce

manual effort and

errors while delivering according to

Say-Do commitments .

• Partner with

Infrastructure Engineering and

Operations teams to ensure

architectural alignment ,

reusability ,

reliability ,

resiliency , and

compliance .

• Drive

automation adoption , measure outcomes, and report

automation metrics .

• Lead and mentor

Automation Engineers and serve as the team's

technical automation SME .

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in

Infrastructure Engineering and

Automation Engineering .

• Strong hands-on experience with

Infrastructure Automation and

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in

Data Center environments .

• Expertise with

Terraform ,

Ansible ,

PowerShell ,

Python , or similar

automation tools .

• Hands-on experience with:
• Git / GitLab
• CI/CD (

GitLab CI ,

Jenkins )

• Artifact & State Management
• Secrets Management (

Vault ,

CyberArk )

• Orchestration Tools (

Spinnaker or similar)

• Good knowledge of

RunDeck .

• Strong understanding of:
• Compute Platforms: Windows ,

Linux ,

VMware ,

Nutanix ,

Citrix

• Storage Platforms: Dell EMC PowerStore ,

Pure Storage ,

XtremIO ,

Unity ,

VNX

• Backup & Recovery Technologies: Veritas ,

Cohesity ,

Commvault ,

Veeam ,

Rubrik

• People management and

project management experience is required.
