Site Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Monitor civil works such as excavation, footing, PCC, RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, and finishing.
• Check the quality of materials and workmanship as per project specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, supervisors, and labour teams.
• Check reinforcement steel, concrete dimensions, levels, and alignment before concreting.
• Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site records.
• Monitor material requirements, consumption, and wastage.
• Ensure compliance with site safety rules and construction standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and other departments to resolve site issues.
• Ensure work is completed within the project schedule and quality requirements.
