About this role
Role & responsibilities
Our client, an established signage manufacturing and engineering company in Hosur, Tamil Nadu (near Bangalore), is hiring a hands-on Site Engineer to manage steel structure and civil works from drawings through to on-site delivery.
- Execute and supervise steel structure and civil works on site
- Review, modify and prepare drawings in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors and internal teams to keep projects on schedule
- Run quality and safety checks during fabrication and installation
- Maintain project documentation, reports and schedules
- Give clients clear, regular progress updates
Preferred candidate profile
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Production or Civil Engineering
- Minimum 2 years site experience in steel structures and civil works
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Fluent English plus Tamil or Kannada
- Own two-wheeler and a valid driving licence
- Ready to travel to project sites as needed
- Smart, self-driven go-getter who takes ownership
