Site Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire safety systems/products at project sites.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Read and understand technical drawings, layouts, BOQs, and project specifications.
• Monitor site work, manpower, materials, quality, and project timelines.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve installation-related issues.
• Prepare site reports, checklists, and project documentation.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and final handover.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Travel to customer/project sites as required.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Fire & Safety, or related field.
• 14 years of experience in site execution, fire & safety, MEP, installation, or commissioning.
• Knowledge of fire alarm, fire fighting, fire protection systems, or related products preferred.
• Good knowledge of drawings, BOQs, and basic site documentation.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to project/customer sites.
