Site Engineer Roles & Responsibilities
* Supervise and monitor civil/industrial construction activities** at the site.
* Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, and project requirements.
* Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and site workers.
* Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, work records, and site documentation.
* Check the quality of materials and workmanship as per project standards.
* Monitor site progress and timelines and ensure work is completed within the scheduled period.
* Take measurements and assist in quantity estimation and billing.
* Coordinate material requirements and follow up for timely delivery to site
* Identify and resolve site-related technical issues in coordination with the project team.
* Monitor manpower and allocate work according to project requirements.
* Ensure compliance with safety rules and site procedures.
* Conduct regular site inspections and report delays, defects, or deviations to the concerned authority.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure proper execution of assigned work.
* Maintain records of drawings, measurements, materials, invoices, and work completion.
* Attend site meetings and provide updates on project progress and requirements.
