Site Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Site Supervision

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the site.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor labour productivity and allocate manpower according to work requirements.

Material Management

• Prepare material requirements based on project progress.
• Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely availability at site.
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.

Labour & Subcontractor Management

• Supervise and coordinate labourers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Monitor productivity and ensure proper utilization of manpower.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to complete activities as per schedule.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma/B.E./B.Tech Civil Engineer with 13 years of site experience, preferably in residential construction and renovation projects. Candidate should have good knowledge of site execution, drawings, measurements, quantity estimation, labour/subcontractor management, material coordination, quality control, and progress monitoring. Good communication skills, AutoCAD & MS Office knowledge, and a two-wheeler with valid driving license and Chennai candidates are preferred.
