Site Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Civil Site Engineer to supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily civil construction activities at the site.
• Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, and other project teams.
• Check dimensions, levels, alignment, and quality of construction work.
• Prepare and maintain daily site reports, progress reports, measurements, and other site documentation.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and overall site productivity.
• Conduct quantity measurements and assist in preparing BOQ, billing, and quantity estimates.
• Ensure proper execution of RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, excavation, and other civil works.
• Coordinate with the planning team to achieve project milestones and completion schedules.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely resolution.
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with required quality standards.
• Maintain records of materials received, work completed, inspections, and site activities.
• Assist in preparing work schedules and monitoring project progress.
• Report any delays, quality issues, or deviations to the Project Manager/Construction Manager.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in civil construction/site execution.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
• Knowledge of quantity estimation, measurements, and BOQ.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage site activities and coordinate with multiple teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
