Site Engineer/Project Engineer

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Project Engineer to oversee and coordinate construction activities for high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in site execution, contractor coordination, quality control, safety compliance, and project monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
• Ensure construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Review and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Monitor RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing, and other civil works.
• Ensure proper execution of high-rise structural and finishing activities as per approved methodology.
• Check quantities, measurements, material requirements, and work progress.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify site issues, coordinate with relevant teams, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and update project management on project status.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team to ensure construction quality and maintain inspection records.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with approved safety procedures and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with the planning team regarding project schedules, work sequencing, and progress updates.
• Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work completion as required.
• Maintain proper site documentation, drawings, checklists, inspection reports, and work records.
• Participate in site meetings and provide technical inputs for resolving construction-related issues.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, materials, machinery, and other resources.
• Support the Project Manager in achieving project timelines, quality, cost, and safety objectives.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of high-rise building construction and civil engineering practices.
• Good understanding of RCC, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Good knowledge of construction materials, methods, and site execution procedures.
• Strong contractor and subcontractor coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of quality control and construction safety practices.
• Ability to monitor project progress and identify delays or site constraints.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
