Job Description Civil Engineering Intern

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist site engineers in day-to-day construction activities and site supervision.
• Read and understand civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
• Monitor labour deployment and daily work progress at the site.
• Assist in quantity estimation, measurements, and BOQ preparation.
• Support preparation of daily progress reports and site documentation.
• Track material consumption, availability, and site requirements.
• Assist in quality inspections and maintain inspection checklists.
• Monitor construction activities as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Learn construction methods, execution procedures, and safety practices.
• Assist in maintaining measurement books, checklists, and work records.
• Prepare basic Excel reports and project progress trackers.

Eligibility:

• Pursuing or recently completed Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel preferred.
• Willingness to learn and work at construction sites.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and eager to gain practical site experience.
