Site Engineer - Civil

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

We are looking for a skilled Site Engineer with hands-on experience in site execution, quantity estimation, and BOQ (Bill of Quantities) preparation. The candidate should be capable of reading civil and architectural drawings, calculating material quantities, monitoring site progress, and ensuring work is completed as per approved drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities and ensure quality workmanship.
- Prepare BOQs and detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.
- Read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
- Calculate quantities for concrete, steel, brickwork, plastering, flooring, painting, and other civil works.
- Prepare material requirement statements and coordinate material procurement.
- Monitor labour productivity, material consumption, and site progress.
- Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work completion quantities.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and project managers.
- Maintain daily progress reports, measurement sheets, and site documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and construction schedules.
- Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and report them for resolution.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity surveying.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing interpretation.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel for quantity calculations and BOQ preparation.
- Knowledge of rate analysis, estimation, and material calculations.
- Understanding of civil construction methods and quality control.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
- Ability to independently prepare BOQs from drawings.
- Experience in measurement books (MB), contractor bill verification, and material reconciliation.

Key Requirement
