Site Accountant Construction / Infrastructure Projects

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities at the project/site office.
• Maintain cash book, petty cash, vouchers, bills, receipts and payment records.
• Manage site-level cash transactions and expenses.
• Verify and process vendor, subcontractor and material bills.
• Maintain records of labour payments, advances and site expenses.
• Coordinate with the Head Office regarding accounts, payments and documentation.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly expense statements and MIS reports.
• Maintain proper supporting documents for all site transactions.
• Reconcile cash, bank and vendor accounts as required.
• Coordinate with site engineers, purchase team, stores and administration for financial documentation.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of all accounting records.
• Support the audit and finance team during internal/external audits.
• Follow company accounting procedures and financial controls.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Accountant / Project Accountant.
• Experience in Construction / Infrastructure / Civil Projects preferred.
• Good knowledge of Tally / MS Excel / basic accounting software.
• Knowledge of site expenses, petty cash, vendor bills and subcontractor bills.
• Telugu language knowledge is mandatory for coordination at the project site.
• Male candidates preferred for this site-based position.
• Candidates should be willing to work at the project location.
• Good communication, coordination and documentation skills.

Qualification:

B.Com / M.Com / BBA / equivalent qualification preferred.

Salary:

As per company norms, based on experience and current CTC.
