About this role
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify CLI - ensuring pixel-perfect, mobile-first layouts.
- Build and optimize Shopify apps or extensions using Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs, and Shopify App CLI to automate workflows and unlock new functionality.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into responsive, accessible, and high-performance Shopify storefronts.
- Integrate third-party platforms (ERP, CRM, PIM, payment gateways, analytics) via Shopify APIs and webhooks for seamless backend connectivity.
- Implement performance best practices: lazy loading, image optimization, CDN caching, and LCP/FID improvements to boost Core Web Vitals.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Shopify stores - fixing bugs, improving load speed, and resolving checkout or cart issues.
