Shop Supervisor

Role & responsibilities Supervise daily production activities: Manage shift operations and ensure production targets are met within quality, cost, and timeline parameters.

Lead and manage a team: Manage a team of operators, technicians, and contract workers, and implement lean manufacturing principles.

Ensure quality and safety standards: Lead and manage a team of operators, technicians, and contract workers, and implement lean manufacturing principles.

Drive productivity improvements: Implement lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, TPM) on the shop floor.

Manage production schedules: Plan what needs to be produced each day or week, assign workers, manage shifts, and ensure everything runs smoothly between teams.

Check quality of products: Early inspections, regular checks during production, and handling any customer complaints by finding and fixing the root cause.

Manage a team of workers: Assign tasks, track attendance, guide them during daily meetings, and review their performance when needed.
