Shipping Manager

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Manage export and import shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
• Prepare and process necessary documents such as DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) certificates, commercial invoices, and bills of lading.
• Coordinate with shipping agents to book space on vessels, negotiate rates, and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
• Ensure accurate tracking of shipments from origin to destination using software like EXIM.

Job Requirements :

• 2-8 years of experience in the textile & apparel industry or related field.
• Strong knowledge of DGFT rules and regulations governing international trade.
• Proficiency in preparing export import documentation including commercial invoices, bills of lading, etc.
