Role & responsibilities

Carry out routine safety inspections, under guidance covering equipment, hygiene, first aid, fire fighting systems, permit systems and traffic/stacking compliance

Record incidents, near misses and shift observations, support investigations and track & implement corrective actions for closure

Support risk analysis and job hazard analysis, help enforce control measures, report unsafe acts or conditions to supervisors

Manage PPE inventory records and assist in issuance. Ensure documents are properly updated and displayed.

Conduct mock drills and emergency response exercises. Support coordination during incidents are directed

Provide day to day safety support guidance to site teams, ensure safety signages and pedestrian pathways are in place and perform other safety tasks

Preferred candidate profile

The applicant should be a Diploma in Safety with minimum 3 to 5 years of work experience in ship and shore safety and emergency preparedness procedures.

Must be proficient in vessel inspection, lifting tools, gear safety and mobile equipment safety practices.
