Shift Production Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily production activities as per the production schedule.
• Supervise production operators and workers during the assigned shift.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and resources.
• Monitor production output and achieve shift-wise production targets.
• Ensure products are manufactured according to approved specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Planning departments for smooth production.
• Monitor machine performance and immediately report breakdowns or abnormalities to the Maintenance team.
• Maintain proper production records, shift reports, rejection reports, and material consumption records.
• Identify production losses, wastage, rework, and process-related issues and take corrective action.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
• Follow all company SOPs, work instructions, safety procedures, and 5S practices.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the production area.
• Train and guide operators regarding production processes, safety, quality, and work practices.
• Conduct proper shift handover and communicate pending activities/issues to the next shift.
• Report production deviations, quality issues, manpower shortages, and other critical matters to the Production Manager.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for productivity, quality, cost reduction, and process efficiency. Role & responsibilities
