Job Summary
Position: Shift Officer - Production (Pharma API)
Location: Vapi
Experience: 2 - 3 Years

Responsibilities - Execute API manufacturing activities as per Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), SOPs, and GMP requirements.
- Operate and monitor reactors, centrifuges, filters, dryers, and other production equipment.
- Ensure accurate charging of raw materials and monitor process parameters during batch execution.
- Perform reaction, filtration, centrifugation, drying, milling, blending, and packing operations.
- Complete batch documentation, logbooks, and production records accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, and data integrity requirements.
- Monitor batch yields and process performance; report deviations and abnormalities promptly.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, Engineering, and EHS departments for smooth operations.
- Verify equipment cleanliness, line clearance, and readiness before production activities.
- Participate in deviation investigations, CAPA implementation, change controls, and audits.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of chemicals, solvents, and intermediates.
- Supervise and guide operators and contract manpower during shift operations.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental compliance standards.
- Support process validation, technology transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in production areas.
- Achieve production targets while maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience as a Shift In-Charge or similar role
- Strong knowledge of industry safety standards.
