Shift lead (physical security)

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of the Shift Lead shall include, but are not limited to the following:

• Lead the on-site security team and execute assigned tasks under the Site Lead's direction.
• Ensure strict adherence of shift security operations to the clients Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure availability and awareness of Job Post Orders among all security personnel in the shift.
• Prepare monthly rosters ensuring 24/7 security deployment coverage at site. Ensure all posts are manned as per the roster.
• Coordinate, track execution and maintain record of training sessions strictly as per the yearly training calendar, ensuring timely completion of mandatory training by all security personnel.
• Conduct shift briefing and debriefing sessions for all security personnel in respective shifts covering all significant points such as incidents, changes, events etc.
• Monitor resolution TAT for physical security system bugs and escalate to relevant stakeholders for delay in resolution.
• Attend unexpected visits from customers, law enforcement or government agencies at the site.
• Respond to all emergency situations, incidents and ensure timely reporting.
• Conduct weekly reconciliations of all security inventory, such as keys, lost and found custody, badges and other administrative inventory.
• Ensure travel security support is provided for female employees in night hours, as well as VIPs, expats as per requirements.
• Perform necessary escort duties as and when assigned for VIPs.
• Support on-site events under the Site Lead’s guidance and submit a report on event completion.
• Ensure a comprehensive and proper shift handover-takeover process.
• Maintain and Review all necessary security reports and returns.
• Be available as a single point of contact in a shift to perform and execute other than the above mentioned responsibilities.
