Shift Engineer-Technical

Role & responsibilities

Hiring for Shift Engineer (Technical).

• Monitor and operate electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, fire & safety, and other building services systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and engineering installations.
• Identify faults, troubleshoot breakdowns, and coordinate corrective maintenance.
• Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance activities are completed as per schedule.
• Respond promptly to equipment failures, emergencies, and technical complaints.
• Maintain shift logs, equipment readings, checklists, work orders, and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with technicians, vendors, contractors, and other departments for maintenance activities.
• Monitor critical equipment parameters and ensure safe operating conditions.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, statutory requirements, and company standards.
• Support energy conservation and utility optimization initiatives.
• Verify completion and quality of maintenance work carried out during the shift.
• Escalate major technical issues to the Engineering Manager/Facility Manager.
• Conduct proper shift handovers and communicate pending jobs and equipment status.
• Maintain adequate availability of critical spares, tools, and consumables.
• Participate in emergency drills and support emergency response activities.

Work location - Hi Tech City ,Hyderabad .
