Shift Engineer-Electrical Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

• Manage electrical maintenance manpower, job allocation, and shift scheduling.
• Ensure availability and reliability of plant electrical equipment for continuous production.
• Attend and troubleshoot electrical breakdowns.
• Execute preventive maintenance of Motors, MCC, PCC, IMCC, VFDs, Soft Starters, UPS, Transformers, DG Sets, Batteries, ACBs, VCBs, Lifts, Monorails, and HT Switchyard.
• Maintain power distribution systems, RTCC panels, power factor, and earth pits.
• Perform lighting, AC, and facility electrical maintenance.
• Monitor energy consumption and prepare daily/monthly power reports.
• Manage electrical spares, material inspection, service PRs, and bill verification through SAP.
• Maintain ISO, statutory, and maintenance documentation.
• Execute electrical modifications, installations, commissioning, and project activities.
• Drive energy-saving and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, PPE usage, Work Permit, and MOC systems.
• Report and investigate safety incidents and ensure statutory compliance.
