The architect will work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Risk, Compliance, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to develop scalable, secure, and user-friendly collaboration solutions aligned with enterprise standards.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Design and define the enterprise SharePoint Online architecture, including site architecture, hub sites, information architecture, content types, metadata, taxonomy, permissions, and navigation.
    • Develop and maintain SharePoint governance standards, including site provisioning, lifecycle management, ownership, permissions, retention, content management, and archival.
    • Architect Microsoft 365 collaboration solutions leveraging SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Microsoft 365 Groups, and Power Platform.
    • Lead SharePoint modernization and migration initiatives, including migration from legacy SharePoint/on-premises environments and file shares to SharePoint Online.
    • Define scalable solutions for document management, records management, enterprise content management, and collaboration.
    • Design secure SharePoint solutions aligned with Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, DLP, sensitivity labels, retention policies, eDiscovery, and compliance requirements.
    • Partner with Information Security and Compliance teams to ensure appropriate controls around data access, sharing, retention, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
    • Design integration solutions between SharePoint and other enterprise applications using Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Azure services.
    • Establish standards and reusable patterns for SharePoint sites, document libraries, lists, workflows, permissions, and business applications.

    • Support Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness, ensuring SharePoint content, permissions, metadata, and information architecture are appropriately structured for secure AI adoption.
    • Create solution architecture documents, technical specifications, diagrams, governance frameworks, and implementation roadmaps.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Microsoft 365 solutions.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to SharePoint/M365 engineers and development teams.
    • Support incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of the SharePoint/M365 environment.
