Supporting Actions

- Overseeing implementation ofsecuritypolicies in sync withthestrategic objectives of the Organisationincorporatingpriorities and concerns of allminesacross Chhattisgarh
- Facilitatingpreventive, predictive, breakdown maintenance as well as planned shutdown with respect toinfrastructure in colonies and guest houses as well as equipment related to security, surveillance and fire safety to ensure continuous uptime
- ImplementingSecurity protocols across units under jurisdiction
- Cost
- Giving inputs for CAPEX and expense budgets with respect to security installations, colonies, guest houses and monitoring their implementation
- Implementingcost savingin terms ofrepair and maintenance of colony infrastructure, guest housesthrough improvement of efficienciesand cost saving measures without affective quality of service
- Cash
- Overseeingmanagement of spares and consumables in areas under jurisdiction to optimise working capital
- Overseeing implementation of manpower plan and optimum contractual security deploymentacross the bauxite mines in Chhattisgarh to improve profitability
- Customer
- Providingsecurity to all mines under jurisdiction to ensure uninterrupted operations, vehicle and manpower movement without any loss of life and property
- Minimisingdowntime with respect to infrastructure in colonies
- Minimisingresponse time in providing information and solutions to all internal and external customers
- Sustainability
- Implementingimprovement initiatives towards greater sustainability
- Implementing statutory compliances with focus on the following:
- Renewing ArmsLicenceswithin timelines
- Vehicle Registration on time
- Optimisingenergy consumption in areas under jurisdiction
- ImplementinggoodHousekeepingpractices
- Partneringgreen initiatives in areas under jurisdiction
- Safety
- Overseesimplementation of Health, Safety, Environment normswith focuson firesafety
- Embedding safety culture throughtrainingand awareness sessions for team under jurisdiction including contractual teams to minimise safety incidents
- People development and engagement
- Making arrangements for employee eventsacross mines in Chattisgarh
- Overseeing intake and deployment of appropriatecontractual workforce, their continuous training and wellbeing as per company guidelines and statutory norms
- Engagingwith employees and contractors forquick resolution of employee issues, contract labour issuesand harmonious employee relationsacross mines under jurisdiction
- Maintaining community connect in areas around mines under jurisdiction
