About the Role
Timebox Pro is looking for an experienced SFMC Testing / QA Engineer with strong expertise in end-to-end testing of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) solutions, including Email, SMS, Push Notifications, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, campaigns, and data integrations.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
- Strong experience in E2E, Functional, Integration, System, Regression, UAT, and Production Validation Testing.
- Expertise in test planning, test case/scenario development, test execution, defect identification, management, and reporting.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation across Data Extensions, audience segmentation, Journey entry criteria, campaign data, and expected outputs.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, including designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts.
- Ability to analyze automation failures and troubleshoot issues.
- Experience integrating automated testing with CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with cross-client and cross-device email testing, including rendering, responsiveness, accessibility, personalization, dynamic content, and link validation.
- Experience testing SFMC integrations with external systems, including API-based integrations and data synchronization.
- Strong understanding of SFMC data architecture, including Data Extensions, Subscriber Keys, Contact Builder, data relationships, and data flows.
- Experience testing Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Campaigns, SMS Programs, and data integrations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues related to data, configuration, business logic, personalization, integrations, and content.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with developers, CRM/Marketing teams, Business Analysts, and integration teams.
Good to Have
- Experience with CI/CD-based test automation
- Familiarity with test and defect management tools
- Experience preparing test evidence, traceability, execution reports, defect summaries, and release/sign-off recommendations
