Setter - CNC/VMC/Sliding Head/TMC

Purpose:

To ensure precise setup of CNC, VMC, TMC, and Sliding Head machines, guaranteeing optimal performance and production quality according to engineering specifications and production plans..

Responsibility:

• Perform machine setup and tool changes as per job requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and control plans.
• Ensure zero deviation during setting to maintain consistent part quality.
• Coordinate with programmers and operators for smooth handover post setup.
• Conduct trial runs and first piece inspections.
• Monitor tooling condition and inform for replacements or regrinding.
• Maintain cleanliness and order around machines.
• Follow safety protocols and company quality standards.
• Document setup details for future reference.
