Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Test/QA professional to ensure the quality of ServiceNow releases before go-live. The candidate will be responsible for test strategy, test planning, ATF automation, regression testing, UAT, defect management, and quality metrics.
Must-Have Skills
610 years of experience in Software Testing / QA
Strong experience with ServiceNow testing
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ATF
Strong knowledge of Functional Testing and Test Life Cycle
Experience creating Test Strategies, Master Test Plans, Test Plans, and Test Cases
Strong understanding of Functional Requirements and Testing Patterns
Experience with Manual and Automated Testing
Strong Defect Management and Defect Life Cycle experience
Experience with Regression Testing and UAT
Ability to write clear, evidence-based defect reports
Experience with Test Management tools
Experience working in Agile/Scrum sprint environments
Strong knowledge of STLC
Experience tracking quality and testing metrics
Experience improving First Pass Yield (FPY) and reducing defect leakage
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Good-to-Have Skills
Basic ITOM / infrastructure / network knowledge
Understanding of Discovery and Service Mapping
Experience testing AI-assisted / Agentic AI workflows
Experience testing exception and failure scenarios for AI workflows
ServiceNow CSA / CAD / CIS certification
Experience with large-scale ServiceNow transformation programs
Knowledge of performance testing and test automation frameworks
Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent
Key Responsibilities
Design test strategies, master test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Create and maintain ServiceNow ATF automation.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing.
Coordinate testing activities across ServiceNow squads.
Manage defects from identification through root cause and resolution.
Maintain test evidence for audit and business sign-off.
Track and report testing quality and performance metrics.
Identify quality risks and improvement opportunities.
Work with developers, BAs, Product Owners, and business teams to resolve defects.
Drive improvements in First Pass Yield and overall release quality.
