ServiceNow Senior Developer (Full Stack, DevOps Team)

Role & responsibilities

• 10 to 12 years in software development, with at least 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development across multiple modules and implementations.
• Proven full-stack ServiceNow skills: server-side scripting, data modeling, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Portal/Employee Center, and UI Builder/Next Experience.
• Expert JavaScript skills and deep knowledge of the ServiceNow APIs (GlideRecord, GlideAjax, GlideSystem, RESTMessageV2, $sp/spUtil).
• Strong integration experience: REST/SOAP, JSON/XML, OAuth 2.0, MID Server, and integration design patterns.
• Solid understanding of platform performance, security (ACLs, roles, scopes), and upgrade-safe development.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD, and automated testing for ServiceNow.
• At least 2 years of experience guiding or mentoring developers, leading technical design, or acting as a technical lead in an Agile team.
• Experience in build-and-run teams, including production support and incident handling.
• Good understanding of CMDB/CSDM and ITIL processes.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical trade-offs to both developers and business stakeholders, and the confidence to make and defend decisions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
