Job Summary

We are looking for a ServiceNow Reporting MIS Analyst with strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow Reporting, Performance Analytics, Dashboards, SQL and Data Visualization. The candidate should have a good understanding of ITSM processes and be capable of developing meaningful reports, dashboards and operational insights from ServiceNow data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure and maintain ServiceNow reports, dashboards and Performance Analytics.

• Develop and maintain Performance Analytics Indicators, Indicator Sources and Breakdowns.

• Create interactive dashboards and KPI reports for ITSM operations.

• Extract, analyze and transform data using SQL and relational databases.

• Perform data analysis and identify trends, patterns and operational insights.

• Develop data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau or Advanced Excel.

• Use Excel Power Query, Pivot Tables and advanced formulas for MIS reporting.

• Work closely with ITSM teams and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.

• Build reports for Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.

• Monitor and report on SLA performance, ticket aging, backlog, productivity and operational KPIs.

• Ensure accuracy, consistency and timely delivery of management reports.

• Troubleshoot reporting/data issues and optimize existing dashboards and reports.

• Maintain reporting documentation and support continuous improvement of MIS processes.

Mandatory Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in MIS / Data Analyst / Reporting roles.

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Reporting.

• Strong experience in ServiceNow Performance Analytics.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Performance Analytics

  • Indicators Indicator Sources

  • Breakdowns

  • Interactive Dashboards

  • Custom Reports

  • KPIs / Metrics

• Strong SQL querying and data analysis skills.

• Good experience with Power BI / Tableau / Advanced Excel.

• Advanced Excel skills including Power Query and Pivot Tables.

• Strong understanding of ITSM processes:

  • Incident Management

  • Problem Management

  • Change Management

• Good analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• ServiceNow Performance Analytics Certified Micro-Badge OR ITIL v4 Foundation certification preferred/required.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with a combination of ServiceNow Performance Analytics + SQL + Power BI/Tableau/Advanced Excel will be preferred.
