ServiceNow ITAM Developer

Role: ServiceNow ITAM Developer/Consultant

Experience Required - 4+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, configure, and support ServiceNow ITAM solutions.
• Implement and enhance ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) modules.
• Configure asset lifecycle processes including procurement, receiving, allocation, transfers, maintenance, and retirement.
• Develop custom workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, Script Includes, and Flow Designer solutions.
• Integrate ServiceNow ITAM with third-party systems and discovery tools.
• Maintain CMDB integrity and ensure asset data accuracy.
• Configure software license management, entitlement tracking, and compliance reporting.
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and provide production support.
• Follow ServiceNow development best practices and governance standards.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of ServiceNow development and implementation experience.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITAM, including:
• Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
• Software Asset Management (SAM Pro)
• Asset Lifecycle Management
• Hands-on experience with:
• Business Rules
• Client Scripts
• UI Policies
• Flow Designer
• Script Includes
• Catalog Items
• Service Portal
• Experience with CMDB, Discovery, and ITSM modules.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow platform development.
• Experience in integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Understanding of software licensing models and asset compliance processes.
