Position Summary Level: Senior Consultant As a Security Engineer III, you will support the design, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management solutions that help clients address risk, compliance, and operational needs. This role offers the opportunity to work across complex platform capabilities, contribute to technical delivery, and help clients modernize their cyber risk programs.
Work you'll do As a Security Engineer III on the Cyber Strategy & Transformation team, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and configure ServiceNow IRM solutions across Policy and Compliance Management, Risk Management, Audit Management, Third-Party Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, and Privacy Management modules in alignment with approved technical designs and business requirements.
- Translate business, functional, and regulatory requirements into platform configurations, custom scripts, workflows, automation, and user experiences within the ServiceNow platform.
- Configure and customize platform components including Workspace, UI Builder, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, Flow Designer, Playbooks, and scoped applications.
- Build and maintain integrations across the risk ecosystem using IntegrationHub, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, MID Server, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Participate in requirements workshops, support solution design and estimation, perform unit testing and code reviews, and maintain technical documentation for implementations and deployments.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing through technical mentoring, reusable development patterns, and alignment with team development standards.
The team Cyber Strategy & Transformation teams develop and transform cyber programs in line with a client's strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite. They keep the enterprise a step ahead of the evolving threat landscape and give stakeholders confidence in the organization's cyber posture. Services include the design of cyber organization, governance, and risk assessments. Services also encompass Cybersecurity Assessments and Frameworks, Cyber Transformation Management, Technology Software and Asset Compliance Management, Third Party Risk Management, Cyber Risk and Compliance, Solution Design and Implementation, and Cyber Risk Analytics and Quantification Reporting.
Qualifications Required:
- 5+ years of ServiceNow experience implementing Integrated Risk Management, Third-Party Risk Management, or Business Continuity Management solutions
- Experience translating business requirements into ServiceNow configurations, scripts, workflows, integrations, and user interface components
- Experience configuring Workspace, UI Builder, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, Flow Designer, Playbooks, and migration of solutions across environments
- Experience with ServiceNow technical capabilities including workflow design, application programming interfaces, web services, and integrations
- Experience with Configuration Management Database and Common Service Data Model
- Certified Application Developer certification Preferred:
- Certified Implementation Specialist – Risk and Compliance
- Certified Implementation Specialist – Third-Party Risk Management
- Experience with governance, risk, and compliance platforms such as Archer IRM or MetricStream
- Experience with Performance Analytics or Application Portfolio Management
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a comparable field
