About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic ServiceNow Developer with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in developing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in one or more ServiceNow modules, such as ITSM, CSM, HRSD, or other relevant ServiceNow applications.
The candidate must hold at least a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification and have a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, development best practices, and IT service management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, customize, and maintain ServiceNow applications based on business requirements.
- Work on ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM, HRSD, or other relevant modules.
- Configure and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Script Includes.
- Develop and maintain Service Catalog items, workflows, Flow Designer flows, and approval processes.
- Work with ServiceNow tables, forms, lists, notifications, and access controls.
- Support integrations with external systems using REST APIs and other integration methods.
- Troubleshoot issues, debug scripts, and resolve platform-related defects.
- Participate in requirement analysis, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Follow ServiceNow development best practices and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and other technical team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development or administration.
- Mandatory: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- Practical experience in at least one ServiceNow module, such as ITSM, CSM, or HRSD.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting fundamentals.
- Experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and ACLs.
- Familiarity with Flow Designer, Service Catalog, and workflow automation.
- Understanding of ServiceNow tables, forms, lists, and platform configuration.
- Basic knowledge of REST APIs, integrations, and data imports.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Good to Have
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
- Additional ServiceNow certifications relevant to ITSM, CSM, or HRSD.
- Experience with IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integrations, or update sets.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ITIL concepts.
- Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, instance management, and deployment practices.
