Responsibilities

• Scripted REST API design - Expert. API definitions, resources, versioning, and routing strategy.
• Server-side JavaScript (Glide) - Expert. Performant, maintainable scripting at scale.
• GlideRecord & GlideAggregate - Expert. Efficient querying, batching, and avoiding performance pitfalls.
• Request/Response handling - Expert. Params, headers, body parsing, streaming, status codes, pagination.
• ACLs & security model - Expert. Endpoint hardening, least privilege, role-based enforcement.
• Authentication & integrations (OAuth 2.0, mutual TLS, API keys) - Advanced/Expert. Designing secure machine-to-machine auth.
• Rate limiting & inbound API controls - Advanced. Quotas, throttling, and protecting the instance.
• Error handling & observability - Advanced. Consistent error envelopes, logging, and traceability.

Preferred

• Experience: 7 to 10 years in ServiceNow Developer.
• Location: Pan India.
• Work location: Remote with experience handling US-based customers.
