ServiceNow Business Analyst

Required Skills:

• 6–12 years of IT experience with 3+ years as a ServiceNow Business Analyst in

SAM/SAM Pro .

• Strong understanding of

Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) , including software lifecycle, license compliance, reconciliation, normalization, software models, and entitlements.

• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, creating BRDs/FRDs, user stories, and process flows.
• Good knowledge of

CMDB, Discovery, ITAM , and software procurement processes.

• Experience working with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams in Agile environments.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements for SAM Pro implementations and enhancements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
• Collaborate with developers and solution architects to deliver SAM Pro solutions.
• Support UAT, process documentation, and solution rollout.
• Drive software license compliance and process improvements aligned with ITAM best practices.

Preferred Certifications:

• ServiceNow CSA
• CIS–Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM)
• ITIL Foundation v4 (preferred)
