Service Now Workflow Developer

Role & responsibilities

• 10 to 12 years in software development or integration work, with at least 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow development focused on workflows and integrations.
• Deep hands-on experience with Flow Designer: flows, subflows, custom actions, flow logic, error handling, and data pills.
• Proven experience building integrations with IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, scripted REST APIs, and MID Server.
• Strong JavaScript skills and solid knowledge of the ServiceNow scripting APIs (GlideRecord, GlideAjax, RESTMessageV2, GlideSystem).
• Good understanding of API concepts and data formats: HTTP methods, status codes, JSON, XML, pagination, and rate limits.
• Experience with authentication methods (OAuth 2.0, basic auth, API keys, certificates).
• Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into automated workflows.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues and doing root-cause analysis.
• Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban).
• Understanding of ITIL processes, especially Request Fulfilment, Incident, and Change.
• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
