Role Description The Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for supporting and maintaining laboratory instruments and related equipment. This role involves performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing technical issues, and carrying out repairs to minimize downtime. The Service Engineer will respond to field service requests, install and commission equipment, and provide technical support and guidance to customers and internal teams. The position also includes documenting service activities, maintaining service records, and communicating clearly with stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting and technical support skills for laboratory equipment and related systems.
• Candidates should possess field service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and customer-facing support.
• Candidates should possess maintenance and repair skills for mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical instruments.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, electronics, instrumentation, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics, and to follow safety and compliance standards.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with readiness to travel locally for service calls as needed.
• Prior experience servicing laboratory or scientific equipment is an advantage.
