Service Engineer

About the Role: • We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer to join our team for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and technical support of biomedical instruments. • The engineer will be based in Patna and will be responsible for providing service support across the East Zone of India, involving frequent customer visits and travel. Key Responsibilities: • Install, commission, calibrate, and demonstrate biomedical instruments at customer locations. • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and software-related issues in medical/diagnostic equipment. • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance as per service schedules. • Attend breakdown/service calls and ensure timely resolution. • Perform equipment testing, calibration, and performance verification. • Maintain accurate service reports, installation reports, and preventive-maintenance records. • Provide technical support and training to customers and end users. • Coordinate with the technical/support team for complex technical issues and spare-parts requirements. • Identify defective components and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements. • Maintain service tools, test equipment, and spare parts properly. • Follow company service procedures, safety standards, and customer-site protocols. • Maintain good professional relationships with hospitals, laboratories, diagnostic centres, and other customers. • Travel extensively across
