Service Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer to join our technical team. The candidate will be responsible for visiting customer locations for machine installation, commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of packaging machinery.

The role requires a hands-on technical approach, good problem-solving skills, and the willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites for machine installation and commissioning.
• Carry out regular servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of packaging machinery.
• Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues in machines.
• Attend customer complaints and provide timely technical support.
• Diagnose machine faults and carry out necessary repairs and adjustments.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure machines are operating efficiently.
• Explain machine operation and basic maintenance procedures to customers/operators.
• Coordinate with the internal technical and service team to resolve complex issues.
• Prepare service reports after completing customer visits.
• Maintain proper records of service visits, spare parts used, and machine issues.
