Service Engineer

Job Role & Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines at customer locations.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Handle installation, commissioning, testing, and servicing of CNC machines.
• Ensure proper functioning and performance of CNC machines after service.
• Attend customer service calls and provide timely technical support.
• Identify faulty components and coordinate for repair or replacement.
• Maintain service reports and update records of work completed.
• Communicate technical issues and solutions effectively with customers and the internal team.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations for service requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in CNC machine servicing, machine maintenance, or industrial equipment maintenance.
• Knowledge of CNC Lathe and VMC machines is preferred.
• Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to independently diagnose and troubleshoot machine-related issues.
• Knowledge of CNC controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar will be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of machine installation and commissioning.
• Good problem-solving and technical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Willingness to travel for customer site visits and service assignments.
