Service Engineer - BESS

Roles and Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, and maintain battery energy storage systems (BESS) at customer sites.
  
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, inspecting, and replacing parts on electrical equipment like DC-DC converters, inverters, PCSs, transformers, and UPSs.
  
• Troubleshoot issues with lithium-ion batteries and high-voltage power electronics using tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  
• Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and provide solutions for energy storage system integration.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols during installation and maintenance activities.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 1-6 years of experience in service engineering or related field (BESS).
  
• Strong understanding of BMS (Battery Management System), DCDC converter, PCS, solar inverters, transformers, UPS.
  
• Proficiency in working with high-voltage equipment and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• On site work 50% .
