Service Engineer- Automation / Packaging Machinery

Role & responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of machines at customer sites.
• Preventive & breakdown maintenance and machine servicing.
• Troubleshooting of electrical, PLC, instrumentation, pneumatic and mechanical issues.
• Diagnose issues related to electrical panels, sensors, drives and automation systems.
• Provide on-site, telephone and remote technical support.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Prepare service reports and maintenance records.
• Train customers/operators on machine operation and maintenance.
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, Design and QC teams for technical issues.
• Travel to customer locations in India and worldwide as required.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2 to 5 years of experience in machine servicing, installation, commissioning or maintenance.
• Experience in industrial automation, packaging or bagging machines preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, electrical panels, sensors, drives, instrumentation and pneumatics.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and customer-handling abilities.
• Willingness to travel
