Service Advisor

Core Responsibilities

• Customer Greeting: Serves as the first point of contact, welcoming clients and listening to vehicle problems, noises, or maintenance requests.
• Translation of Information: Explains complex mechanical or technical terms from the mechanics into simple, clear language for the customer.
• Estimates and Quotes: Prepares cost and labor estimates, writes formal repair orders, and calls clients for approval if extra work is discovered.
• Workflow Coordination: Schedules service appointments, assigns or tracks jobs with technicians, and checks on parts availability.
• Status Updates: Keeps customers informed about repair progress, handles complaints, and reviews final bills when the car is picked up.
• Warranty Guidance: Advises clients on manufacturer warranties and coverage policies.
