Service Advisor - Mechanical

Job Summary


Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand vehicle concerns related to engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering, and mechanical systems
• Prepare job cards, estimate repair costs, and explain service procedures clearly to customers
• Coordinate with technicians and workshop controllers for accurate diagnosis and timely repairs
• Ensure adherence to OEM service processes, checklists, and quality standards
• Follow up on service progress, approvals, and delivery timelines
• Explain completed work, replaced parts, and preventive maintenance at vehicle delivery
• Handle customer complaints, warranty cases, and repeat concerns effectively
• Promote value-added services, service packages, and AMC/extended warranty
• Maintain service records in DMS (Dealer Management System)
• Achieve CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) and service revenue targets

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of automotive mechanical systems
• Ability to interpret technician diagnosis and repair recommendations
• Knowledge of OEM service manuals and standard repair procedures
• Basic familiarity with diagnostic tools and OBD systems
• Understanding of warranty policies and recall procedures

Qualifications

• Qualification: Diploma / BE (Mechanical / Automobile)
• Languages: English + Local Language
• License: Valid Driving License (Preferred)
• Experience: 10+ years
