Server Engineer L2

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Managing and maintaining IT infrastructure including Servers and workstations.
• Installing, configuring, and updating operating systems, applications, and security softwares.
• Monitoring system performance and proactively addressing technical issues.
• Ensuring data security and implementing security policies.
• Problem solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Team player with the willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of managing AD users, Computers, Groups and OUs.
• Knowledge of GPO, DNS and DHCP servers.
• Familiarity with Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware).
• Knowledge of Backup and Restoration of data on tape drive / Library.
• Knowledge on proxy solutions.
• Maintain detailed documentation of Server configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps.
  

Job Requirements :

• 2-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in VMware vSphere and other virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM).
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.
• Experience working on Linux-based systems.
