• Perform keyword research and identify high-value search opportunities.
• Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
• Optimize website titles, meta descriptions, headings, content and internal linking.
• Conduct technical SEO audits and identify website optimization opportunities.
• Analyze competitors and their SEO strategies.
• Optimize service pages, location pages and industry-specific landing pages.
• Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic and SEO performance.
• Use Google Search Console and other SEO tools to identify growth opportunities.
• Work with content and development teams to implement SEO recommendations.

Local SEO and Google Business Profile (GMB)

• Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles (GMB/GBP) .
• Improve local search and Google Maps visibility.
• Conduct local keyword and competitor research.
• Optimize business categories, services, descriptions and other GBP elements.
• Work on local citations and relevant directory listings.
• Develop location-based SEO strategies for businesses targeting Pune and other cities.
• Monitor local keyword and Google Business Profile rankings.
• Identify opportunities to improve local leads and visibility.

GEO - Generative Engine Optimization

• Develop SEO strategies for AI-powered and generative search.
• Optimize website content for visibility in AI-generated search results.
• Research conversational and natural-language search queries.
• Create content around entities, topics, questions and search intent.
• Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility across generative search experiences.

AEO - Answer Engine Optimization

• Optimize content for featured snippets and answer-based search results.
• Research questions and conversational queries related to target keywords.
• Create FAQ and question-based content.
• Structure content to make information easy for search engines and answer engines to understand.
• Implement and optimize relevant schema markup.

Skills Required for SEO Specialist Job

• 1-3 years of hands-on SEO experience.
• Strong understanding of On-Page, Off-Page and Technical SEO.
• Practical experience with Local SEO and Google Business Profile.
• Understanding of GMB ranking and Google Maps SEO.
• Knowledge of GEO and AEO.
• Strong keyword research and competitor analysis skills.
• Understanding of search intent and content optimization.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and website structure.
• Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog or similar platforms.
• Good analytical and reporting skills.
