Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled SEO Manager with strong agency experience and a forward-thinking approach to AI-powered SEO. The ideal candidate will lead a team, manage a large client portfolio, and leverage AI tools to drive performance, efficiency, and scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10 to 15 SEO professionals
Oversee SEO strategy and execution for 100+ clients
Develop and execute end-to-end SEO strategies (technical, on-page, off-page)
Drive performance-focused SEO campaigns aligned with business KPIs
Integrate and utilize AI tools for SEO automation, content optimization, and insights generation
Use AI-driven platforms to improve:
Keyword research and clustering
Content creation and optimization
SERP analysis and competitor tracking
Implement scalable workflows using AI to improve team productivity
Manage client communication, reporting, and performance reviews
Conduct technical audits and recommend data-driven improvements
Collaborate with content, development, and paid media teams
Stay updated on Google algorithm updates, AI in search (SGE), and emerging trends

Required Skills & Qualifications
5 to 8 years of SEO experience, preferably in a digital marketing agency
Proven experience managing teams of 10 to 15 members
Experience handling 100+ clients or large-scale SEO operations
Strong expertise in:
Technical SEO, on-page, and off-page optimization
SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4)
Hands-on experience with AI tools for SEO, such as:
ChatGPT / generative AI tools
Surfer SEO / Clearscope / Frase (or similar)
AI-based keyword clustering and content tools
Strong analytical mindset with focus on performance and ROI
Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Australian clients/markets
Understanding of AI-driven search (SGE, AI Overviews) and its SEO impact
Experience integrating AI into SEO workflows at scale
Knowledge of performance marketing metrics (CAC, ROI, conversions)
Familiarity with automation tools (Zapier, APIs, etc.) is a plus
