Job Title: SEO Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify SEO opportunities.
• Implement on-page, off-page, local, and basic technical SEO strategies.
• Manage and optimize Google Business Profile (GMB) for local SEO.
• Optimize website content, blogs, landing pages, FAQs, and metadata for search engines.
• Build and manage high-quality backlinks and monitor backlink profiles.
• Track and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools.
• Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and overall SEO performance.
• Prepare regular SEO performance reports and provide actionable insights.
• Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SEO trends, and industry best practices.
• Develop and implement Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to improve brand visibility across AI-powered search platforms such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, and other generative search engines.
• Optimize website content, FAQs, structured data, entities, and authoritative online mentions to improve the chances of the brand being cited, recommended, and surfaced in AI-generated search results.
• Monitor AI search visibility and identify opportunities to improve brand authority and online presence.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of SEO, Local SEO, and Google Business Profile.
• Hands-on experience with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
• Basic knowledge of WordPress, HTML, technical SEO, and content optimization.
• Understanding of GEO/AI search optimization will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple SEO projects
